If you don’t think you have people to lean on in your life, cultivate some deeper roots. Maybe you’ve got friends or family where you just need to better develop the relationship with them. Or you might need to bring some new people into your life. Maybe start with those who share your hobbies.
Wednesday the 22nd is Administrative Professionals’ Day. They do a lot of work, for both big and small businesses. And a lot of work we business owners don’t really want to do, frankly! Our administrative professionals appreciate being recognized on their special day, of course. But we think an even better way to appreciate them is to keep them safe while they’re at work! This applies both to the office, and to their home office when necessary.
It’s important, while you’re working from home, not to injure yourself! Stay healthy while you’re staying socially distant. Working ergonomically is a key factor in making sure you’re safe at home.

As an office worker, you know sitting all day is bad for you. You’ve even got your standing desk ready to go. If your work surface is a folding table, all you need is a set of folding table risers. But how do you get from sitting all day to standing? Try a 30-day challenge! [...]
Do your hips feel tight? Any cramping or soreness in the hip and upper leg areas? Tight (or “weak”) hip flexors are a signal that your body isn’t working in the way it needs to. Strengthening your core and hips (including your behind!) will help you loosen the flexors up. There are three main causes [...]
For children, standing isn’t necessarily about, well, standing. It’s more about encouraging movement in the classroom. Moving around doesn’t just help prevent obesity, which is an epidemic for our kids here in America. It’s also beneficial for learning and interacting! Why is it important for kids to stand? 1. They already spend a lot of [...]
