Our story tells you why we’re so passionate about saving the backs of other people… because we had to save ours to make it happen! We also take great pride in serving our customers and addressing their needs.
So many of us don’t get enough sleep. In addition to being a productivity issue, lack of sleep can result in injuries too! Fatigue played a role in the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl nuclear disasters as well as the Exxon Valdez oil spill, in addition to countless others.
February is Responsible Pet Owners Month, and lots of people consider grooming an important part of pet ownership. We do - that’s our Heinz-57 breed Oakley up there on the table! There are a lot of potential safety issues when it comes to grooming our beloved pets. We found some tips and tricks for everyone to stay bite and injury-free while you’re clipping the hounds.
This year we’ll be “falling back” one hour on November 1 as we transition away from Daylight Savings Time. The change in clocks is also a great time to take care of some other chores that occur every six months or so. They can help you and your family stay safe in your home.
Did you know that August 27 is “Just Because Day”? It’s amazing what can be celebrated any day of the year! But when we at Lift Your Table™ started thinking about it, we realized that there is a whole lot about our folding table risers, customers, and safety “just because”...
We’ve told you a little bit about our story before. We started as caterers and had to find a solution for helping our workers’ aching backs. The National Week of Making was last month, but we think it’s never too late to celebrate our clients! We have a lot of customers who use our folding table risers to lift up their work surfaces so they can work on their craft without hurting their backs. There are so many different things to make and it’s exciting to be able to support people who are in this group.
Wednesday the 22nd is Administrative Professionals’ Day. They do a lot of work, for both big and small businesses. And a lot of work we business owners don’t really want to do, frankly! Our administrative professionals appreciate being recognized on their special day, of course. But we think an even better way to appreciate them is to keep them safe while they’re at work! The problem with home office setups, in many cases, is that you’re repurposing items that weren’t really designed with a home office in mind. You might be working at a table that’s a little too high for you to comfortably type. In general, most tables that are at the right height for eating aren’t quite right to get the proper position.
