This year, OSHA’s Safe and Sound Week promoting safety at work runs from August 9th to the 15th. It’s a great time to recognize the health and safety success of American companies. And to provide suggestions and information on how any workplace, whether it’s an office, warehouse, or even home environment, can be made safe for its employees.
We’re so excited to open our corporate office in The Spa City, Desert Hot Springs. The ribbon-cutting, held June 17 and jointly hosted by the Greater Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center, brought out plenty of old and new friends and colleagues to help us celebrate.
Be a Millionaire Day is coming up on May 20. Owning your own business is often a good path to millionaire status. Even those who aren’t millionaires have something to give! At B Team Solutions, the makers of LiftYourTableⓇ folding table risers, it’s important for us to contribute to our community. We are thrilled our new office is right across the street from our local high school (click for a tour!), because we have big plans to work with students who are interested in entrepreneurship!
As you might imagine, we like to celebrate inventors and inventions whenever we can! Not only are we proud to be a member of that community, we’re happy to help others make the community even bigger. Chances are that if you’re experiencing a problem, lots of other people are too. We originally developed our folding table risers for our own use (see the whole story here), but then discovered that plenty of people in a variety of industries had the same issue with folding tables that we did.
At Lift Your TableⓇ folding table risers we’re proud to be a “Mom and Pop” business. March 29 is National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day, which is very dear to our hearts. We also like to encourage everyone to support as many small businesses as you can. It’s especially important during coronavirus. You may find that your local shops and restaurants are offering delivery or curbside pickup, so take advantage!
As a certified minority- and woman-owned (WBENC) business, we at Lift Your TableⓇ folding table risers look not only to the past for business leaders, but also to the present (and future). We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experiences with other entrepreneurs and businesses, because the world is one of abundance. We don’t believe in hoarding, because a rising tide lifts all boats!
