Safety management survey results have arrived.
We sent our survey to those who had responsibility for the safety of their employees. Most of them (or someone in their department) were also responsible for reporting OSHA recordables.
Top findings
Those who answered our survey really care about their employees! We asked why safety was so important, and 100% of respondents answered: “Protect our workers”. Other answer options included “Increase productivity”, “Protect company against litigation” and “Reduce OSHA Recordables”.
Another strong preference came when we asked what would bring the most improvement to workplace safety. Worker training, employer (management) training, or more ergonomic equipment, like standing desks or anti-fatigue mats.
67% thought worker training would bring the most improvement.
If you’re in management, consider your worker training program! Is it consistent when any new hire is brought on? Do you repeat the training on a regular basis?
Where were the injuries?
Many had more injuries in the picking and placing areas, then shipping/receiving, and a few had more in packing.
As far as locations go, the majority (two-thirds) of our respondents experience injuries in manual handling/lifting departments. One-third had dangerous docks.
We also asked what were the top three types of injuries. Over 50% of our respondents named pulling and pushing as the biggest cause of harm to their workers.

I was so happy when I found your product! Simple design and easy to use. I avoided having to buy a new sewing table. The risers do not slip and the table feels very sturdy. 2 minutes to install. Highly recommend!
I set up an area on my back porch for bleaching and dyeing shirts. Unfortunately, the tables I got didn't have adjustable heights. My back was constantly aching from bending over a table for prolonged periods. I ordered these after seeing all the reviews on Amazon. What a lifesaver! They went on so easily and the tables are super sturdy. Perfect height for working without pain!! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
I ordered the wrong size from Amazon. When I tried to return them, Amazon directed me to the Lift Your Table company. I spoke with Bethany and she helped me figure out what size I need. She did not charge me for the additional expense of the larger size. She only charged me $15 for shipping. She told me that I didn’t need to return the original set but to gift them to someone who could use them. She was very professional and very kind. I highly recommend this “Made in America” company!
The NuChair design makes sense, so I bought one, and my staff love it! It does offload the low back when sitting and maintains tall strong sitting posture while sitting. In 40 years of practice I have never seen a chair that can deliver good ergonomics and postural support. The NuChair is the NuWay to get it done. Bravo.
These are a life-saver. I am going to get them for all of my work tables. No more hunching over! And, I can stand and work if I want to. We know that sitting is really bad for us. This was a VERY worthwhile purchase.
I am a DJ and I get tired of bending over all the time on a normal table. This thing did the trick! It puts everything at a much easier level so I can see it and reach for it so much easier.
