Every Thanksgiving I like to take an intentional pause and not just think about gratitude, but also think about what it truly means.

2021 has been a great year in so many ways; we opened our new world headquarters – if you missed it, you can see some of the festivities here!

And we achieved record growth with the Lift Your Table® brand, which means so much to our whole team. Knowing we are helping people all over the world one back at a time is WHY we come to work everyday with a mission to reach the world with our folding table risers!

2021 has also been the most challenging year of my life to date and I’m more grateful than ever to be here writing to you. In January 2021, like everyone, I was just happy to get the heck out of 2020! At the end of the month, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Flash forward to today –  it has been a TOUGH year, but when the doctors declared me cancer-free in June, I gave all glory to the Lord!  In September, I contracted COVID-19, which could have been really bad for me with my immune system still rebuilding after my chemo treatments; but I am happy to report I had a mild case and I have recovered from that too!

No matter what we face: WE STILL HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR!

Please allow me to share with you the other things I am thankful for:

Customers

We love our customers and appreciate your support, feedback, reviews and shares you give us! It is truly a thrill for us to hear back from customers who let us know how much better our product makes them feel and how our product literally saves backs all over the world.

We are thankful that after a long work day, somebody (a few bodies actually!)  is feeling better, crafting longer, earning more income for themselves and being more productive because we were able to help them lift their folding tables to a comfortable working height.

We’re especially thankful for those of you who spread the good word about our products to your network. We want to take this opportunity to remind you that we’re very interested in hearing your feedback! Tell us what you need so we can make these the best quality products possible.

Business support

This year we participated in a number of small business programs designed to help build sustainable businesses in terms of operations as well as marketing.

And as always, the teams at Coachella Valley Women’s Business Center (CVWBC) and Inland Empire Women’s Business Center (IEWBC) had our backs as well! We said “farewell” to Kim Scanlan, who has finally been able to take her well-deserved retirement as director of the CVWBC, but we’re so grateful to have had her help and support along the way.

Friends and family

We’re thankful for all our friends and family, neighbors and even strangers for their numerous expressions of love and support. We started a suitcase drive for foster children and a coat drive for those who needed them.

We also started a scholarship fund for the high school, as our new office is directly across from the high school in the City of Desert Hot Springs, which is a traditionally underserved community. We also hope to mentor some HS students and provide internships for them.

Animals

Yes, we are thankful for our beloved pets. They’ve been especially important during all these pandemic restrictions because they keep us amused with their zany antics!

Many of us have opened our homes and hearts to new furry family members – some for the first time!  Meet Pat’s sweet furbaby, Hope (and her adorable underbite), adopted over the pandemic from the Humane Society.

Staff

To Bob, Pat, Casey, JJ, Pierce, Nick, Judine, Dayanna, Lauren, Griffin and Bonnie and her crew… Thank you for believing WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! We’re thankful that you believe in our product, as well as our mission of helping people save their backs, one set of folding table risers at a time!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We support No-Buy Friday so that workers can have time off to enjoy with their families… but we’re also big fans of Small Business Saturday which comes the Saturday after Thanksgiving. For obvious reasons!

If you are a business and doing some shopping on Saturday, please check out our full line of folding table risers. In addition to us, check out your local shops as well… a good way to hedge against supply chain issues this holiday season!

Lift your TableⓇ… SAVE YOUR BACK!
