With all the changes our clients have experienced recently, many people have found their eating habits up in the air. It may be difficult to stick to a schedule because you’re juggling work and kids at home, or you haven’t found your groove yet and you’re eating whatever’s in the fridge whenever you remember. Working from home is here to stay, for those whose jobs allow for it. Many of our clients will be back to work on their warehouse floor, some in offices, and some at home. No matter where you are, World Environment Day (on June 5) is a reminder that staying green is still important! Here are some ways that you can remain sustainable, no matter where your workspace happens to be.
Wednesday the 22nd is Administrative Professionals’ Day. They do a lot of work, for both big and small businesses. And a lot of work we business owners don’t really want to do, frankly! Our administrative professionals appreciate being recognized on their special day, of course. But we think an even better way to appreciate them is to keep them safe while they’re at work! This applies both to the office, and to their home office when necessary.
It’s important, while you’re working from home, not to injure yourself! Stay healthy while you’re staying socially distant. Working ergonomically is a key factor in making sure you’re safe at home.
The problem with home office setups, in many cases, is that you’re repurposing items that weren’t really designed with a home office in mind. You might be working at a table that’s a little too high for you to comfortably type. In general, most tables that are at the right height for eating aren’t quite right to get the proper position.
By now you’ve probably got at least a week of working from home under your belt. Hopefully you’ve settled into a routine, and your household understands when you shouldn’t be disturbed. And yet… still, there are distractions.
